Welcome to Out of the Park Baseball 25! This section of the online manual will cover the "administrative" stuff - minimum requirements, how to purchase OOTP 25, how to install and license the game, and how to get technical support for issues. Topical subpages are as follows

Please note that most of the above procedures refer to the installation and licensing of the FastSpring version of the game. If you have purchased the game from Steam, Steam will handle purchasing, licensing, and installation for you.

How to import older saved games to the latest version

Question: I have an older version of the game that is a few years older than the current version and I want to buy the current version of the game and import my old saved games to the new version. How do I do this?

Answer: You can download DEMO versions of OOTP that will allow you to import your old saved games into the next years version, until you get to the current version. Here is where to download these demo versions. https://www.ootpdevelopments.com/ootp-prior-version/

Question: I last bought OOTP 21 off steam, can I use the demo versions to bring my saved games from OOTP 21 to the current Steam version of the game?

Answer: Yes. All you are using the demo version for is to convert/import the game to the next version so that it will import into the next version, until you reach the current version of the game.

So to import the older saved games to the newest version, find the first iteration of OOTP you do not have, e.g. you have OOTP 21 saved games, you will need to download demos for OOTP 22, 23, and 24 so that you can import the game into OOTP 25. You do not need any licenses. Just install the demo, run the "IMPORT OOTP XX GAME" option from the OOTP Start screen. Do this for each version needed until you have reached the current iteration of the game.
