In-Game Bugs and Crashes

In case OOTP doesn't work properly for you, visit the OOTP 25 Technical Support Forum. Here you can look for threads with similar issues. Your issue might have been solved by someone else already. If not feel free to create a new thread using all the information available to you. You'll need an account to post a new bug. Please follow our guide when reporting an issue. The development team regularly updates the game. Check the patch notes and test on new updates if your issue persists. If it has been fixed or you found a solution yourself update the thread that you created, share your information.

Technical Support is mostly community driven, but the developers also look at the threads and try to help as often as possible. Help each other!

Advice for Common Error Messages & Issues

Sometimes OOTP can generate an error message. Should this happen, follow the steps above to report it and seek help. For the benefit of customers, some of the more common messages are noted below with a solution to try.

• OOTP cannot load this database because it has been created with an earlier version of OOTP
• Failed to validate request because the time between the server and client is not synchronized
• OOTP displays in tiny font on a Windows-based PC
