First-Year Player Draft
This is the approved revision of this page, as well as being the most recent.
The First-Year Player Draft is an annual event in most leagues, in which teams can draft amateur players. The draft is typically held in mid-June. By default, the draft pool is announced thirty days before the draft so that teams can have time to review and closely scout the players that will be available.
See First-Year Player Draft for more information on this topic.
