OOTP has two disabled lists that teams can use to help manage their rosters when players on the active or secondary rosters suffer injuries: the 10-day injured list and the 60-day injured list. Disabled lists are primarily for effective management of the active and secondary rosters, but they can be used even in leagues without affiliated minor leagues.

10-Day Injured List

Players placed on the 10-day injured list remain on the team's secondary roster.

60-Day Injured List

Players placed on the 60-day injured list are removed from the team's secondary roster, opening up a slot for a replacement player.

The injured lists are visible on the Injured List sub-screen of the Transaction page.

Assigning Players to the Injured List

There are two ways to place a player on the injured list:

  1. On the Injured List sub-screen of the Transaction page, drag a player from the active or secondary roster to the disabled list.
  2. Right-click any injured player and select Transaction | Place on Injured List.

As soon as you place a player on the disabled list, you will be prompted to choose one of the two disabled lists.
