The Steam Workshop offers a convenient system for modders to share content and for users to find, download and install mods.

From Steam:

"The Steam Workshop is a central hub of player-created content and tools to publish, organize, and download that content into your games. Different games will utilize the Workshop in different ways."

In OOTP, anything contained in the customizable data folder can be modded and uploaded to the Steam Workshop. The data folder can be found by clicking "Open folder containing customizable data" in Settings. For a default Windows installation it is located in [DRIVE]:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Out of the Park Baseball 25/data

Accessing the Steam Workshop

The Steam Workshop can be reached directly via the Steam app from the top menu on the OOTP game page, or from within the game under File>Workshop>Open Workshop button, or from the link at the bottom of the OOTP start screen.

Installing and Activating Steam Workshop Content

  1. Subscribe to a Mod on the Steam Workshop page by clicking the subscribe button. Steam will automatically download the file, the download progress should be visible in the bottom area of the Steam client. Wait for the download to finish.
  2. Open Workshop Central from the File menu in OOTP
  3. The file should be listed in Your Subscribed Items. It now must be installed.
  4. Select the item and on the right hand side click the button: "This item is downloaded, click here to install or re-install it"

Some mods, such as skin files, may require restarting OOTP.
