OOTP Baseball:Important Game Concepts/League Events

There are a number of standard league events during a calendar year in OOTP. League events are almost always important for the general manager, and often they require some action on the GM's part. You can see a list of upcoming league events in the League Events page, found by navigating to League Menu | News | League Events tab. In addition, league events are typically listed as stopping points for auto-play. Not all leagues will have the same league events, depending on your league is configured!

This section of the manual will describe the different league events that occur in OOTP. Some events, such as the first-year player draft, the Rule 5 draft, and the trading deadline, are described in more detail elsewhere in this manual guide, but we'll at least cover them briefly here.
