Creating an OOTP league using real-world Major League teams and players has never been easier. From the Start Screen, just click on the New Standard Game button.
When you select this option, you will immediately be asked to enter a name for your saved game. OOTP's Major League game contains complete Opening Day rosters, including all minor league affiliates, as well as the complete history of Major League Baseball built into its record books, so it may take a few minutes to prepare your game, depending on the speed of your computer.
Once the game has been loaded, you will immediately be taken to the Create your manager Profile Screen, where you can set up your manager identity.
Once you have created a manager identity, the game will begin. Major League games in OOTP start on the day before Opening Day, so you should immediately look to set up your team's Lineups and depth chart, and pitching rotation before the season begins!
