OOTP supports four types of player drafts: inaugural, first-year player (amateur), Rule 5, and expansion. This section of the manual will walk you through that process, noting exceptions along the way. The draft process consists of the following sequential steps:
- The draft pool is announced
- Pre-draft activities take place
- Adjust the draft order and rules, if necessary
