The Offseason Center section (League Menu >> Transactions section >> Offseason Center) is available in the League Menu from immediately after the playoffs end until the preseason begins. It consists of two screens that help GMs keep their finger on the pulse of the league during the offseason.

Offseason Center

The Offseason Center screen keeps GMs up-to-date on goings-on during the offseason. It is available in the League Menu from immediately after the playoffs end until the preseason begins.

The Offseason Center consists of three separate sections. On the left is a list of what are considered to be the top 25 free agents, sorted by their rumored contract demands, so the most expensive players will be on top. On the top right is transaction news. This is no different than the news you can find on the News Listing page, but it has been distilled here to only include news related to contract negotiations and free agency. This gives you can have "one-stop-shopping" for your offseason, which can be especially helpful if you are doing real-time simulation. On the bottom right of the page is a list of the most recent free agent signings, along with the terms of the contract.

Offseason Summary by Team

The Offseason Summary by Team screen gives a description of what each team has done during the offseason. It is available from immediately after the playoffs end until the preseason begins.

The Offseason Summary by Team shows a scrolling list of all of the teams in the league on the left. For each team, a list shows the players who have been added and lost, and through what means (free agency, retirement, etc.). It also shows the WAR for each player added or lost, and a summary of how much WAR the team has lost and gained. (See the Glossary if you're not sure what WAR is.)

The right side of the screen shows all of the teams sorted in order by the amount of WAR they have lost or gained. So, the teams near the top of the list are the ones who are widely thought to have had a "good offseason".
